Exodus, the second book of the Bible, tells the story of how the Israelites were enslaved by the Egyptians and rescued by God hundreds of years later. Afterwards, they wandered in the desert for 40 years and frequently wondered if a life of captivity in Egypt was better than the hardships they experienced in the wilderness. In this four-week series, we'll explore how the lessons the Israelites learned about frustration, danger, God's provision, and control still apply to us today.
