COVID-19 UPDATE

Prairie Lakes Church campuses remain closed May 30/31.

Governor Reynolds lifted restrictions on religious gatherings as long as churches implement social distancing guidelines and increased sanitary cleaning. What does that mean for Prairie Lakes Church and our six campuses? Well, we’re excited as you are about being able to gather again! But this weekend, May 30/31 we will not be reopening our campuses. Your safety is the most important thing to us. We want to be ready for you. And we need some time to get ready - because we all know things are going to look a little different at PLC than before COVID-19 was a part of our language. Let’s keep worshiping and inviting our friends to join us online together this weekend either at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., or 8:00 p.m. on our website, Facebook page and Youtube channel.

So... when will we reopen? We’re not sure yet - but we’re working hard on it, and will keep you updated as that gets clearer.

If you are in the rhythm of giving generously on the weekend, continue online at prairielakeschurch.org/give or mailing to Attn: Finance, Prairie Lakes Church, 1907 Viking Road, Cedar Falls, IA 50613

Remember, pray don’t panic.
  • Pray and check on those in your circles who feel isolated, anxious, angry or scared – point them to our website and online services.
  • Pray, serve and encourage our healthcare officials who are in the front lines caring, treating and showing compassion to the sick.
  • Pray for our representatives sharing news through national CDC and local health facilities and making difficult decisions.
  • Reflect Christ, and be Jesus with skin on. In these days of uncertainty and ever-changing circumstances, shine and share the love of Christ. Show the world our faith in the One who can be trusted in this pandemic.
Even in challenging circumstances, God is still good! Be excited for how God is going to move through you and the church to reach people for the Kingdom.
