It’s one thing to go to church, but an entirely different thing when that church transforms you and your marriage. That’s our story in a nutshell. Getting plugged in at Prairie Lakes Church has been life changing!

We met five years ago and visited several churches before settling on PLC. Since attending, we’ve been baptized, got married, became members and serve in numerous areas including First Impressions, the Cafe, Student Ministry, House of Hope and more. We’ve jumped into marriage mentoring and welcomed small groups into our home. We believe it’s our job to be invitational, so we bring a lot of people to church. We rent apartments and even invite our tenants!

However, what God is doing is much more important than what we are doing. He is sanctifying every part of our lives. The more we attend Prairie Lakes Church and hear God’s Word, the more everything just makes sense - life, family, work, friends, adversity and more. We are different at work and with our family as we apply what we learn each week.

The discipleship we have received helps us take next steps in our faith. We lived together before we were married, but CC Green helped us understand being obedient to Christ and getting married was a better choice. Then the mentoring provided by Cal & Cindy Eckhoff helped our marriage grow and become sanctified, permanent and meaningful. Our marriage is for God’s glory now! Also, our blended family includes three boys, and our biggest goal is sending them in the right direction. We are thankful for the discipling Jagger White provided to Adrian our son.

Our cup is overflowing! We’re so thankful for what Jesus did for us 2,000 years ago and that our church provides support and encouragement. If someone is looking for a church home, you probably won’t find one more welcoming and authentic than PLC.
