We partner with several organizations who meet unique needs in our community:

BABIES:  Alternatives Pregnancy Center

Alternatives Pregnancy Center offers services to Cedar Valley women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.  Services include free and confidential pregnancy tests, education on abortion risks and procedures, post abortion counseling, and adoption counseling and referrals.

The House of Hope provides single mothers with transitional housing.

BABIES:  Potters Hands

Potters Hands provides financial support to couples who are adopting.

TRANSPORTATION:  GearHead Ministries

GearHead Ministries meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM to restore donated vehicles.  Once restored, vehicles are given to individuals in the Cedar Valley who are in need.

HOUSING:  Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity

Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity works in our community to eliminate poverty level housing by providing a safe, simple and affordable house for people in need.  Prairie Lakes Church sends a volunteer team on the 4th Saturday of each month to help build homes in our community.

FOOD:  Northeast Iowa Food Bank

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank serves 16 counties in Northeast Iowa with programs providing food and grocery products to kids, homebound elderly, families and non-profit organizations. Over 20 volunteers from Prairie Lakes Church spend the 2nd Saturday of each month serving at the Food Bank.
