This is a uniquely designed and highly creative 3-week event to assist in the healthy transition of our current 5th grade students and their parents into the culture of Prairie Lakes Church Middle School Ministry.  5th grade students will have a great opportunity to connect with a variety of middle school leaders for the 2008-2009 school year with a creative devotion and activity time designed specifically for them and there will also be a parent component, so parents can gain critical insight and engage in the life of student ministry.

Sturgis Falls Festival After Hours Tent City
at Prairie Lakes Church Rock Pile

Pitch your tents, camp out with any and all of your friends on the sacred Rock Pile grounds of Prairie Lakes Church.  Enjoy great food, late-night music and campfire conversations, all the while enjoying the Sturgis Falls Festival during the day!  This event is open to middle and high school students.  There will be specified camping boundaries for tents and for each age group with a neutral food and gathering area for all to connect! 

Please reserve (RSVP) your tent city location and register by June 22 for only $10/person, which pays for your breakfast and evening meals and secures your spot at the Rock Pile!

Wars:  An Epic Event in the Life of a Middle School Student
5:30 - 8:30pm at Prairie Lakes Church

Middle School is a battleground and being a middle school student takes the heart of a warrior.  So, we are going to prepare and train our middle school students how to fight with the right weapons.  This event will take middle school students through a journey of four distinct type wars:  Mud Warfare, Food Warfare, Water Warfare, and Spiritual Warfare.  So, students bring any and every friend you've got, and we will help you becoming the warriors you have always longed to be by placing you under the leadership of a general, as you battle it out for the Kingdom.

The cost for this event is $5/person, and make sure you wear clothes that can get dirty, wet, and potentially ruined.

Sunday, July 27th - Thursday, July 31st
Middle School Retreat
Wilderness Resort and Water Parks, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

This incredible new adventure for middle school students will take them to a whole new level of spiritual maturity and provide a fresh look at building community with others, all the while enjoying summer fun in the sun at one of the world's largest water park resorts.  This 5-day adventure has 88 spots available for students and 16 available spots for approved volunteer leadership.

The cost for the retreat is $225 for students and $125 for leaders, which is an all inclusive cost for food, lodging, travel, daily access to 7 water parks, activities, and retreat follow-up resources.
