Online Giving FAQ

Q: I clicked the "Give Online Now" button and nothing happens.
Clicking the link should open a new browser window. If you are using a pop-up blocker, the window will not open. In order to use online giving, you will need to allow pop-ups within prairielakeschurch.org.

Q: When will my automatic contribution be charged to my account?
You can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, every other week (bi-weekly), twice per month (1st and the 16th), monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Multiple schedules make it possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.

Q: Can I give one time?
Yes. You may give once or test Online Giving by selecting “One Time” in the frequency drop down box of the sign-up process.

Q: How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?
You can view your record of "online" giving at any time by viewing the Contribution History box. This will provide each donation you made, when you made it and a year-to-date total. Year-end statements are also directly sent to your home address.

Q: Can I give to special funds?
Yes. If there are active pledge drives or other special projects available, they will appear as options for you to select. NOTE: You will need to set up two different schedules to give to both the General Fund and the special fund.

Q: Can I use my debit card or credit card?
Yes, you can use MasterCard or Visa. Be aware that Prairie Lakes Church is charged about 3.5% of the transaction by the card company.

Q: Can I use an electronic check?
Yes, you can use Electronic Check. This is our preferred method, as Prairie Lakes Church is only charged $0.50 per transaction.
