WHAT IS BIGSTUF?

At BigStuf Camp, students experience an environment that enhances opportunities to lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Students come alongside friends, caring, balanced and gifted adult leaders who exhibit both character and integrity, and your child will encounter God in a fresh, real and relevant way.

The environment of BigStuf and the elements and logistics of their events are geared so students will hear some of the best Christian speakers in the nation and worship with the BigStuf band. BigStuf is the perfect place for students to take next steps in their faith walk.

Accommodations are located at the Boardwalk Beach Resort located on the white sands of Panama City Beach, Florida.

WHY DOES BIGSTUF SEEM SO EXPENSIVE?

In reality BigStuf is a VERY affordable trip. Your child will receive an all-inclusive (transportation, lodging, food, conference materials and BigStuf Camp Registration) week-long trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. Any other trip of this length and with these amenities would cost considerably more. Also, if your child stays home during this week, there are the costs of food, movies, water park passes, clothing and gas money. Also, compared to some other investments you’ve made in your child’s life such as sporting events or participating in sports, band camps and trips, foreign language trips or Christmas and birthday parties, BigStuf is actually an affordable and great way for you to invest in the spiritual journey and health of your child.

WHAT FORMS NEED TO BE COMPLETED FOR MY CHILD TO ATTEND BIGSTUF?

Students will need to complete a Prairie Lakes Church health waiver and release form as well as a notarized BigStuf waiver and release form. Both of these documents will need to be signed by students as well as parent or legal guardian. These forms will be available at the parent/student Big Stuf meeting (date and time yet to be determined).

WILL MY CHILD NEED ADDITIONAL SPENDING MONEY WHILE ON THIS TRIP?

Yes! Your child will need money for eight road meals (less expensive/fast food meals) as well as any money they would like for shopping or any Panama City Beach activities not included in the BigStuf fee (i.e. jet skiing, parasailing or mini golf). They may also want to purchase additional BigStuf merchandise (i.e. shirts, CDs or books). A recommended amount of extra spending money for the week would be approximately $80.
